So many scars and battles, so many tears were shed,
A war against myself with no one to blame for the casualties,
A hundred blades were fun, the pain was starting to feel numb,
Deliberate abuse for one and that one was me,

But I found my peace,
When I noticed the only fighter was me,

Starved myself of love feeding off emotions I'd made up,
Became addicted to this wave of sadness drowning me,
Popped some pills just to cure the sickness I began to stir,
Who knew I was just unsure of how to let it be,
